Healthy Pumpkin Shake🎃

First things first... I am not a photographer. I don't have an 'eye' for taking a pretty picture... especially when it comes to food... shakes in particular. So yes, this looks ugly & unappetizing. BUT if you are a pumpkin fan, I promise you'll like it... guilt-free!

I can't believe it's taken me this long to whip out the pumpkin puree this season (note: always puree, never pumpkin 'mix'). Pure pumpkin is wicked healthy - packed full of nutrients like... Vitamin E, several B vitamins, fiber! - , vitamins A & C, potassium (and more) to help you promote fullness, a regular digestive system, boosted vision, better sleep, a healthier heart, etc.

Here's my delicious recipe... throw all ingredients in a blender & enjoy!

  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree

  • 1/2 Banana (fresh or frozen chunks)

  • 1 cup Cashew Milk (or any unsweetened nut milk)

  • 2 Tbsp. Maple Syrup (I used sugar free, but there are ample health benefits to 100% pure)

  • 1 scoop Vanilla protein (I used Beast protein)

  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon, ground

  • 2 Tbsp. Flax seeds, milled

  • 3-4 Ice cubes

  • Added water if needed for blending purposes :)

Know someone who loves pumpkin? Share this post with them!! And make sure you let me know if you try this recipe... and what you think!
